It’s Tu B’Shvat!\nJoin us for an afternoon of celebration\, exploration\, and creativity as we celebrate the birthday of the trees with Camp Tawonga\, Eden Village West\, Jewish Gateways\, and Berkeley Moshav. \nExplore the Jewish value of Caring of the Earth – Shmirat ha-adamah with nature-based crafts\, tree and seed planting\, recycling projects\, fruit sampling\, a tree birthday party\, and an optional multilingual (English/Spanish/Hebrew) nature walk to Live Oak Park. \nThis Tu B’Shvat event is geared for children ages 3 – 8 years. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a celebration of our relationship with nature!\nTu B’Shvat (Birthday of the Trees)\, is a Jewish holiday that celebrates the beginning of spring. The Tu B’Shvat seder is a time to reflect and examine how we connect to the natural world around us\, especially to fruit trees. This is an opportunity for us to envision – collectively and individually – how we can be partners in shaping and healing our natural world.  \nThe Tu B’Shvat Seder consists of four sections\, each marked by a different color of wine or grape juice\, and a sampling of different types of fruits and nuts. Together\, we will explore the symbolism of each of these sections while enjoying yummy treats! \nRegister here.\nRegistration required\nCost: $10/person \n
