We recommend warm layers and a reusable thermos to fill up on hot beverages post-film. \n3/11: Schmatta: Rags to Riches \n\nTogether\, we will take a closer look at the vibrant\, unexpected history of the Garment District\, which for many years was the heart and soul of Midtown Manhattan\, but is now in danger of disappearing. For thousands of immigrants the garment industry was a path to their American Dream\, but today most of those jobs are gone. A microcosm of the economic and social forces transforming our nation over the past one hundred years\, “Schmatta: Rags to Riches to Rags” tells the story of this vanishing industry through the voices of the people who have experienced its highs and lows\n\nClick here for tickets and information.

SUMMARY:[Cancelled] Movie\, Nosh\, Discuss: Paragraph 175
DESCRIPTION:In commemoration of National Holocaust Day\, our teens are invited to join us as we will take a closer look at the rarely told stories of the Nazi persecution of the LGBTQ+ population. during World War II. Paragraph 175 fills a crucial gap in the historical record\, and reveals the lasting consequences of this hidden chapter of 20th century history. These are stories of survivors – sometimes bitter\, but just as often filled with irony and humor; tortured by their memories\, yet infused with a powerful will to endure. Their moving testimonies\, rendered with evocative images of their lives and times\, tell a haunting\, compelling story of human resistance. \nClick here for tickets and information.
