Dr. Martin Luther King recognized that environmental justice was a part of social justice and believed that “All Life is Interrelated” including the life of trees\, plants\, animals and human beings. We are all connected to each other! \nBring your family to the JCC East Bay to learn why it is important to celebrate and protect the trees while exploring the importance of tree equity for climate and social justice in honor of Tu B’Shvat and Martin Luther King Day. We recommend warm layers and a reusable thermos to fill up on hot beverages post-film. \n2/11: Forever Pure \n\nBeitar Jerusalem Football Club is the most popular and controversial soccer team in Israel. Forever Pure documents the 2012-13 season\, when a secretive transfer deal by the club’s owner brought two Muslim players from Chechnya. The deal inspired the most racist campaign in Israeli sport and sent the club spiraling out of control.
