The JCC East Bay is in its second year of a pilot artist-in-residency program on the site of the future East Bay Jewish Community Campus. By offering local Jewish artists practicing in the visual, media, and/or writing mediums access to a small, centrally-located studio with good natural light, our hope is to share the benefit and importance of the arts with our community. In exchange for space and presentation support, we request that the artist(s) collaborate with our preschool, afterschool, community, and/or staff to offer workshops, classes, or professional development opportunities. Please note: there is the potential of sharing the space with another artist of a different genre.
