The JCC East Bay is excited to carefully transition back to a select number of in-person programming for our older adult community.
We are currently offering two clubs for older adults:
– The Mah Jongg Club meets from 10:00am-1:00pm on Wednesdays in the Library
– The Yiddish Learning Group meets from 10:30-11:30am in the courtyard beginning February 15, 2023
If you are interested in these programs, please contact Emma Regev, Community Engagement Coordinator, with any questions.
We are also continuing to work closely with our partners at Jewish Family and Children’s Services of the East Bay to provide resources and support to local Holocaust Survivors. Keep a lookout for future events with JFCS East Bay including the beloved weekly Café Europa.
More than anything, we are looking to understand how to best meet the needs of our older adult community as we start to bring back in-person programming. If you have any thoughts or ideas, please reach out to Emma. She would be happy to connect with you through a phone call, coffee, or a walk!
We also invite you to keep an eye on our events calendar for upcoming events.
