Older Adults Programs

The JCC East Bay is excited to carefully transition back to a select number of in-person programs for our older adult community.

Weekly groups

  • The Mah Jongg Club meets from 10:00am-1:00pm on Wednesdays in the library
  • The Yiddish Learning Group meets from 10:30-11:30am on Wednesdays in the art room/courtyard

Nosh With Your Neighbors

  • We’re excited to open up our theater and courtyard space for a bring-your-own-lunch gathering on the third Thursday of every month from 11:30am-1pm beginning on Thursday, July 20. Bring your own Kosher-style lunch, dessert will be provided!

Upcoming Events

  • Thursday, September 21 – Rosh Hashanah lunch in collaboration with Cafe Europa featuring a special performance by Ensemble for These Times. This event is now full – contact Emma to be put on a waiting list.

If you are interested in these programs, please contact Emma (emma.regev@jcceastbay.org) with any questions and to reserve a spot.

More than anything, we are looking to understand how to best meet the needs of our older adult community as we start to bring back in-person programming. If you have any thoughts or ideas, please reach out to Emma. She would be happy to connect with you through a phone call, coffee, or a walk!
