Tu B’Shvat (Birthday of the Trees), is a Jewish holiday that celebrates the beginning of spring. The Tu B’Shvat seder is a time to reflect and examine how we connect to the natural world around us, especially to fruit trees. This is an opportunity for us to envision – collectively and individually – how we can be partners in shaping and healing our natural world.
The Tu B’Shvat Seder consists of four sections, each marked by a different color of wine or grape juice, and a sampling of different types of fruits and nuts. Together, we will explore the symbolism of each of these sections while enjoying yummy treats!
