JCC Maccabi Games®

Program Overview

The JCC Maccabi Games® is the largest Jewish teen gathering in North America. 

In 2025, athletes will participate in this Olympic-style tournament in Tucson, Arizona.

Jewish athletes from the East Bay will participate as members of Team San Francisco, joining over 2,800 Jewish teens from across the globe for the 2025 JCC Maccabi Games. Among the highlights of this unique, Olympic-style Jewish experience will be: sports competitions – including opening and closing ceremonies, travel, community service, social and cultural events, and opportunities to create Jewish connections, friendships and memories to last a lifetime.

FAQs

The Games gives Jewish teens the chance to give something back to their communities through JCC Cares, a day dedicated to acts of tikkun olam (repairing the world), in ways meant to give back to the communities they are visiting. 

These week-long experiences provide teens – many, for the first time–to feel part of k’lal Israel, the greater Jewish people. JCC Maccabi Games engages the entire Jewish community in a celebration of Jewish peoplehood with a love of Israel at its core.
