Chanukah Around The World Family Festival
Join us at JCC East Bay for our Chanukah Around the World Celebration for the first time ever in our brand new Rockridge location!
Just as the sun sets, we will gather together to try celebratory foods from different countries, learn about important customs and traditions from Jewish communities around the world, and participate in a communal chanukiyah lighting! You can expect to make your own hanging menorahs like Morrocan and Indian-Jews, learn how dreidel is played in Israel, hand-press olives like Jewish communities in Italy do, and so much more!
Enjoy live music by Lior Ben-Hur and his band, Music By Heart!
Plus, even more fun with Wilderness Torah, Olamim , Eden Village West, PJ Library, Camp Tawonga, Oakland Hebrew Day School and Contra Costa Jewish Day School!
This Chanukah program is geared toward children ages 2-8, but all are welcome!
This will be an outdoor event so we suggest bundling yourself and your little one for comfort!
