Death Cafe
Join us for Death Cafe–a relaxed, agenda-free conversation about death and dying over tea and cake. No experts, or lectures.
A Death Cafe isn’t a grief support group or counseling session–no theme, no agenda, and no push towards any particular conclusion. The goal is simply to increase awareness of death and comfort talking about it.
This Death Cafe will be facilitated by Yael Galinson, death doula, Jewish death educator, and board member of Sinai Memorial.
Sinai Memorial believes that the Jewish practices and rituals surrounding death add uniquely powerful meaning and points of connection. That’s why, every day, we offer the flexibility needed to serve Jewish people of all denominations, traditions, and means in the Bay Area with kindness and respect.
