From Sarah Wolfman-Robichaud, JCC East Bay Director of Public Programs and LABA East Bay Program Director

This song.  It’s been a lullaby to my children that I scrawled on the side of my nursing chair so I wouldn’t forget the words during my infant-stage insomnia, a mantra during far too many mourning periods, a song I sang with my beloved band when mama needed a break and a spotlight in which to take one, and generally a good reminder of better times…despite the hard ones.

“So come all ye ragtime kings, come on, you dogs, and sing. Pick up your dusty old horn and give it a blow.”
