Shavuot is a lesser-known holiday but one which has both historical and agricultural significance. It celebrates both the grain harvest and the story of receiving the Torah. For over 30 years, the JCC East Bay has hosted the Tikkun Leyl Shavuot, bringing together more local partner organizations than any other event! In person, the JCC typically welcomes upwards of 700 people through its doors from dusk to dawn. Virtually, we welcomed over 1,000 from 3 continents.
